Roma wing-back Riccardo Calafiori was bemused after he received a yellow card, seeing as the Ajax ball-boy had thrown the ball at his face.
The incident occurred in stoppages in Amsterdam, with Roma leading 2-1 in the Europa League quarter-final, first leg.
The ball went out of play, Calafiori went to perform the throw-in and walked up to the advertising boards on the touchline.

Instead of handing the ball to Calafiori, the ball-boy threw it with all his might straight at the Roma player from point-blank range.
Calafiori was understandably annoyed, even more so when the referee gave him a yellow card.
