The 77-year-old was at the centre of the Calciopoli scandal in 2006, which ultimately resulted in the Bianconeri's relegation to Serie B and two of their Scudetti being stripped.
However, more than eight years on, the club’s current President believes enough time has passed for the retired official's slate to be wiped clean.
“Luciano Moggi is an important part of the history of Juventus,” Agnelli has reflected today.
“We are the country of Catholicism and forgiveness, he can be forgiven.
“It is true, we were wrong [in the Calciopoli scandal], but how is it possible that those who did the same [with reference to Inter] came out of it with the Scudetto in their pocket?
“Juventus were the only ones to pay for conduct which applied to everyone else.”
