The full-back has once more been linked with interest from the Rossoneri in recent days and has commented that his agent is in talks with the club over a proposed return to the peninsula.
At the same time, quotes have emerged from that representative, alongside reports on the latest status of negotiations.
“There’s nothing new,” Andrea D’Amico is quoted as telling Sportitalia. “We are talking about it.”
Gianluca Di Marzio’s website is running the line that D’Amico is in fact due to meet with Zenit officials shortly to request that they sell the 27-year-old this summer, due to his desire to return to Italy.
