“We wanted Fiorentina so that he could be guaranteed consistent playing time. If he gets back to being the player he was before the injury, and you’ll see that he will, then assists and goals will be a natural consequence.
“The trident attack in Florence this season has so much quality to it, matching Federico Chiesa, Giovanni Simeone and Pjaca.”
Pjaca barely featured for the Bianconeri, making 20 competitive appearances with one goal, as he suffered from a series of injury problems and then spent six months on loan at Schalke 04.
