Udinese-owned striker Matej Vydra “would like to play on the top level,” said his agent, which means leaving Watford.
“I can’t imagine him playing Championship again right now,” agent Ondrej Chovanec told the Evening Standard.
“We discussed it with the boy and he would like to play with the top players on the top level. It’s difficult because he was very happy at Watford, but if you get the opportunity to play Premier League or German Bundesliga would you say no?
“He is the number one Czech international striker and he would like to play the same level competition as Petr Cech is doing.”
The 21-year-old spent this season on loan at Watford, a satellite club owned by Udinese patrons the Pozzo family.
Despite 22 goals, he couldn’t get them promoted from the Championship, where they lost the play-off final to Crystal Palace – a club Napoli President Aurelio De Laurentiis is interested in buying.
Now Vydra has been linked with Arsenal, Tottenham and Fulham, though a return to Udinese is also a possibility.
“The Pozzos are always saying if the player wants to leave and the offer is good enough then let’s discuss,” continued the agent.
“He had two or three proposals from Premier League clubs in January and he has had fresh proposals.”
