Agent Mario Giuffredi has claimed Napoli still want Jordan Veretout but stressed the midfielder intends to stay at Roma.
Veretout arrived on loan from Fiorentina last summer and his move will become permanent for €16m on September 1, but Giuffredi claims the Partenopei are following his situation closely.
“It’s not a mystery that Napoli have always admired him, as much as last year,” the agent told Radio Kiss Kiss Napoli.

“Veretout is happy at Roma, he wants to remain there. We need to know who the sporting director will be to understand some things, but his desire is to stay at Roma and not go anywhere.”
The 27-year-old contributed six goals in 33 League matches for the Giallorossi in 2019-20 and helped the Giallorossi to the last eight of the Europa League.
