The 27-year-old only made the move from Fiorentina last summer for €17m and has been a regular for the Giallorossi so far this season, playing 34 games in all competition.
“He is a player who is very happy in the Capital and everyone is focused on seeing him stay at Roma for the future,” agent Mario Giuffredi told Radio Sportiva.

Although Napoli remain the most persistent rumour, Milan were also in the running for Veretout last summer.
He has scored three goals between Serie A and the Europa League in the Roma jersey.
