It has been reported today that the Nerazzurri have decided to sign Caner Erkin from Fenerbahce on a free transfer, rather than pay €8.5m to sign Telles outright.
While the player’s representative did not confirm that he’ll return to Istanbul after his loan spell, the door is very much open for a return.

“We had a meeting with the sporting director [of Galatasaray], Cenk Ergun,” Fernando Otto told FCInterNews.
“He’s a very serious and helpful person. I’ll speak to him again in reference to whatever we agree with Inter, perhaps to do with the player’s price tag.
“Alex would be very happy to continue his adventure with the Nerazzurri, but he’d also be happy to return to Galatasaray, he loves life in Istanbul.
“Interest from Wolfsburg? Maybe, but we haven’t received any concrete information.”
