Marco Verratti’s agent says the Italy and PSG star needs time to decide on his future, while Paul Pogba ‘didn’t go on holiday’ and will be available for Juventus from July 2.

Rafaela Pimenta spoke to Sky Sport from Turin where she attended an event to launch the 2023 Golden Boy Award. Pimenta is the representative of several Serie A and Italy stars, including Verratti and Pogba.

The Azzurri midfielder has received an offer from the Saudi League and his future at PSG seems uncertain.

“Anything I say about my lads would cause chaos, so to avoid any problem, I’ll say nothing,” the Brazilian agent told Sky Sport.

“We need two or three weeks to understand how things evolve.”

Pimenta was asked his thoughts on offers coming from the Saudi League.

“I appreciate these offers, we must respect Saudi League clubs. The fact that they spend this money, means they have concrete projects.”

Verratti has also been linked with a move to Roma but doesn’t seem eager to return to the Peninsula.

“He already plays for Italy, more Italian than this…,” noted Pimenta.

“Now, he’s on holiday, so we don’t think about the future, then we’ll see.”

Pogba has been struggling with injuries in 2022-23 but aims to start the pre-season with the rest of the group.

“Pogba is working hard, I know you follow him on social media,” said his agent.

“He didn’t go on holiday, which is not a problem for him. He is very motivated. He returns on July 2 and will be at Juventus’ disposal.”

Pogba returned to Juventus one year ago, completing a free transfer from Manchester United. However, he only made ten appearances at the Allianz Stadium, missing the first part of the campaign and the World Cup with France following meniscus surgery.

He is the highest earner in Turin with an €8m-a-year salary and his contract runs out in June 2026.
