Sergej Milinkovic-Savic’s agent Mateja Kezman admits the Lazio midfielder has never been in advanced talks with Juventus, but refuses to rule out a future move to Turin.
The Serbia international is regarded as one of the best midfielders in Serie A and has been linked with a move to Juventus for a long time.
“The truth is, there have been few serious talks with the Bianconeri. In the end, nothing happened and no agreement was found,” Kezman, a former Chelsea striker, told TuttoJuve.
Milinkovic-Savic’s contract with the Biancocelesti expires in June 2024.
Maurizio Sarri’s side host Juventus at the Stadio Olimpico tomorrow, but could the Bianconeri be Milinkovic-Savic’s next club?
“With all due respect to Lazio, Sergej is a player for a great club in the future,” Kezman added.
“I’m sure soon it will be time for a new adventure and new dreams.
“Juve, in my opinion, is still a great club and I think it’s an honour for anyone to play for that club. Let’s see what will happen in the future. God will show him what’s his way.”
Milinkovic-Savic has scored three goals and delivered four assists in 16 appearances across all competitions with Lazio this season.
The Biancocelesti are involved in the race for a Champions League placement and are enjoying a three-point lead over eight-placed Juventus.
Sarri’s side sit just one point off fourth-placed Atalanta ahead of tomorrow’s meeting with the Old Lady.
