Lucas Biglia’s agent has praised the impact of Lazio Coach Stefano Pioli on his development, but is open about Real Madrid links.
Despite a spell out through injury, the former Anderlecht man, who featured at the summer’s World Cup, has pulled the strings in the middle of the park for the Aquile this season.
His agent Enzo Montepaone has credited the 28-year-old’s Coach for his client’s impressive form.
“I think [Pioli has been] almost essential,” the agent has today told Calciomercato.it.

His agent Enzo Montepaone has credited the 28-year-old’s Coach for his client’s impressive form.
“I think [Pioli has been] almost essential,” the agent has today told Calciomercato.it.
“He's given him time and confidence, and the results are good right now. His technical preparation is dragging Lazio through victories.
“We are admiring Lucas for many reasons. He’s a major player and always has been over the years. I am convinced that he can grow further. He’s a great champion and always tries to improve.
“He's one of the best [in his position] in Europe, but the numbers and performances speak for themselves. Biglia started at the World Cup and is very important for Argentina.
“He reached the final against Germany and was involved. Now he’s continuing to prove himself at Lazio.”
Montepaone then had his say on speculation linking Biglia with a move to Real Madrid, after reports over the summer had suggested that the 28-year-old was close to agreeing a transfer to Spain.
“In football, you can’t say anything. Anything can happen,” he mused.
