The agent is today quoted as having repeated those claims, despite Wolfsburg Coach Dieter Hecking saying that Perisic will stay.
“Today could be a good day to close the deal,” Jutarnji List quotes Martic as saying.
“We’re waiting for the Germans to give their final word.”
It’s believed there is a difference of €2m between the Beneamata’s valuation and Die Wolfe’s asking price, with Inter also seeking an initial loan, while the Bundesliga side would prefer to sell outright.
In addition, Manchester City are still thought to be seeking Kevin De Bruyne, and it's unlikely Wolfsburg would sell both players.
