Goran Pandev’s agent admits he was “not happy” at being left off out of the Napoli Champions League squad.

The Macedonian striker was not included in the list of players for their Champions League play-off against Athletic Bilbao, fuelling reports of a summer move.

“Goran is a professional,” agent Carlo Pallavicino told Firenzeviola.it.

“He is training the way he always has done during his career, with the utmost effort and seriousness.

“Certainly, he’s not happy at being left out of a competition like that, but the player still has faith.”

Pandev has repeatedly been linked with Milan and Fiorentina among others.

“What are his chances of staying at Napoli? Good. The club has not received any concrete offers and the lad is happy here.

“At the moment there is nothing to suggest a departure. Fiorentina? I haven’t heard anything in recent months, nor have I met with the Viola.

“I repeat, at the moment it’s very probable he will remain at Napoli.”
