Agent Alejandro Camano said Achraf Hakimi is ‘sad’ to leave Inter and confirmed Lautaro Martinez will stay at San Siro.

The agent spoke to Tuttomercatoweb outside of Inter’s headquarters, where he met with the Nerazzurri management.

Hakimi arrived at the Nerazzurri last summer and made a great impact in 2020-21, contributing seven goals and 10 assists from his right-back position, to help Inter pick up their first Scudetto in 11 years.

The former Real Madrid defender is on the verge of joining Paris Saint-Germain, but the agent couldn’t confirm the move.

“We talked about several things, we can’t say yet that Hakimi is a new PSG player,” Camano said. “We talked about everything.

“Martinez stays here, now he’s in Argentina for the Copa America. Lautaro is an Inter player, he has a two-year contract and is happy here.

“If Hakimi is sad to leave Inter? Those who leave Inter are always sad.”

Hakimi will be sacrificed to raise funds and Sky Sport Italia has reported the French giants have offered €60m plus €10m in add-ons for the Morocco international.
