“Inter are not the only club interested in Thiago Motta. We want first to be sure that PSG still see it fit to continue with Thiago. Then, we will discuss everything else.
“I want to remind you of something: Thiago Motta is the only player who accepted a lower wage when he joined PSG from Italy.
“This is not about money. Thiago is not like that.
“This really is about the project that PSG have in mind for us. We want to know what the PSG representatives really think about him.
“We are glad that PSG President Nasser Al-Khelaïfi claims he is a key player for the club but we want them to tell us what they really think about him before we discuss.
“There is one year remaining on his contract with PSG but we will see what we can do during the negotiations.
“They are currently in Doha with Mino Raiola as far as I know so we are waiting them to come back to France to plan everything.
“I think and I hope that we will know more this week.”
