However, agent Batur Altiparmak denied that any pre-contract deal had been struck, although he admitted ‘four or five’ teams have made contact.

“We haven’t reached an agreement with any club, we still need to talk with Fenerbahce,” Altiparmak said to FutbolArena.
“Between Italy and the rest of Europe four or five teams have contacted us to hear about the situation of the player, but we continue to give the same answer to everyone.
“We can’t yet give a response, positive or negative, until we’ve spoken with the club. After that we’ll make our decision.”
