Riccardo Orsolini continues to impress at Bologna and his agent, Donato Di Campli, has suggested Napoli are interested in the Italy international.

Orsolini has contributed seven goals and five assists in 26 games this term and the impressive form earned him his first cap by Italy, when he scored once and contributed two assists on his debut in the 9-1 win against Armenia last November.

“Napoli like Riccardo and is a target for Giuntoli,” Di Campli told Gonfialarete.com. “Napoli are an important club, that played in the Champions League and fought for the Scudetto, we would have to consider it.

“From here to complete a deal, there would be a lot of negotiation. At this moment, he is only focused on Bologna.”

Orsolini has targeted a place in the Italy squad for Euro 2020 next summer and the agent accepts that he would have to take into account the tough competition at the Partenopei.

“We are not afraid of any player, with the utmost respect for everyone,” he added. “But it’s clear that playing 35 games in a row compared to coming off the bench in 15 ahead of the European Championship.

“Then it may be that the offer of a lifetime arrives, and you have to grab the opportunity. If Bologna receive an incredible offer and the club accepts it, we will listen.”

The 23-year-old’s initial loan deal with the Rossoblu became a permanent deal last summer, when Bologna paid €15m for the former Juventus youngster, and Di Campli is not concerned about a buy-back clause in the deal between the two sides.

“These are things that do not concern me, we only have to consider the contract Orsolini has with Bologna. The agreement between clubs doesn’t concern us.”
