Elseid Hysaj’s agent admits Napoli could sell the full-back for a “staggering offer” but Mirko Valdifiori will stay.

Elseid Hysaj’s agent admits Napoli could sell the full-back for a “staggering offer” but Mirko Valdifiori will stay.

Hysaj joined the Partenopei from Empoli this summer, and has since become a key part of Maurizio Sarri’s table-topping side.

“I’ve known Hysaj for a long time, and I knew he’d do well at Napoli,” Mario Giuffredi told Radio Crc.

“Everything was facilitated by Sarri. His value has risen so much since the summer. He’s a player worthy of top clubs, and if Napoli received a staggering offer in June they could consider it.

“In football, everything has a price. When I talk about top clubs, I’m talking about Real Madrid or Chelsea, because Hysaj can take a step forward.”

Giuffredi also represents Valdifiori, and shot down rumours the playmaker could leave San Paolo this January.

“I’ve read some crazy things in the last few days. I can deny categorically that Mirko was involved in talks with Torino for [Nikola] Maksimovic.

“Valdifiori is a Napoli player, and he’ll remain a Napoli play until at least June, because the player wants to prove he’s worthy of the club he chose in the summer.

“I always tell my players that we’ll make our assessments at the end of the season, and I’m sure in June things will be very positive for Valdifiori.”
