Ravel Morrison’s agent denies reports his client wants to leave Lazio – ‘he’s working hard to be a leader’.
The player’s representative is in Italy, and reports earlier today suggested he was trying to secure his client’s release, as the Manchester United youth product wants to return to England.
“There was no request to transfer Morrison,” Daniel Wilson told Gianluca Di Marzio’s website.

“Ravel is happy to stay in Rome, he’s working hard to be a leader. I’ve come to see the game [the Champions League play-off with Bayer Leverkusen] and to be with my client.
“Today we were at Formello to meet [Lazio director Igli] Tare, with whom we have a great relationship, but we never asked for a transfer because [Coach Stefano] Pioli holds him [Morrison] in high regard and considers him an important part of the squad.”
