It was even suggested that a meeting had taken place between the Spaniard and director Paolo Maldini.

It was even suggested that a meeting had taken place between the Spaniard and director Paolo Maldini.
“It’s natural that Marcelino wants to coach a big European club next season. Milan, for their glorious history, are one of the most important clubs in existence,” agent Eugenio Botas told Sky Sport Italia.
“In response to the news that appeared in a Spanish newspaper, which maintains Marcelino will be the coach of Milan next term, we can say that Marcelino has never met Paolo Maldini and has not, as of today, received any offer from Milan for next season.
“For this season, the information is incorrect and does not approach the reality of the situation.”
