The agent of Napoli winger Dries Mertens says his client wants to remain at San Paolo until ‘at least’ 2018.
The Belgian has been in-and-out of the Partenopei side this season, making nine of his 12 appearances from the bench, but the player’s agent insists he’s happy to stay until at least the end of his current contract.
“Mertens is calm and happy to stay at Napoli,” Soren Lerby assured Radio CRC.

“My client wants to stay until at least the end of his contract, which is in 2018. There’s no problem with the club or his teammates.
“Mertens also has relatives in Naples at the moment.”
Napoli are being heavily linked with Manolo Gabbiadini of Sampdoria, but Lerby assures that the two can coexist.
“My client is not worried about the possible arrival of Gabbiadini.”
