Agent Federico Pastorello has revealed that Napoli goalkeeper Alex Meret will be ‘willing to go on loan’ to find regular first-team football.
Meret, who played 22 times in Serie A 2019-20, has struggled to convince coach Gennaro Gattuso and the former Udinese youngster considers his options ahead of Euro 2020 next summer.
“Alex made an important decision for his career when he decided to leave Udine and go to Naples,” Pastorello told Rai.

“We are in constant talks with the Azzurri, a player of his age must play and we are willing to go on loan if it’s necessary.”
The 23-year-old, capped one time by Italy, kept three clean sheets in Serie A with the Partenopei.
He shared the place between the sticks with David Ospina towards the end of the campaign, playing seven out of the last 16 matches in the League.
