Agent David Muller said Weston McKennie seems ‘extremely happy’ at Juventus and doesn’t expect the midfielder to leave the club this summer.

McKennie contributed another goal in the 3-1 win over Genoa, taking his total tally to five goals in Serie A since his move to the Allianz Stadium.

Muller, one of the agents working for Wasserman Group, who manages the 22-year-old, said McKennie works hard to ‘improve every week’.

“Weston is improving with every week,” he told TuttoJuve. “He worked very hard to recover from the injury that had affected his performances a little.

“Now, he seems to be in top form again.”

Juventus decided to sign the USA international on a permanent deal in March, when they triggered an option in the deal with Schalke 04 worth €18.5m.

“Our reaction was one of pride and gratitude for the choice made by a very important club like Juventus,” the agent continued.

But rumours of a sale have emerged in Italy, claiming the Bianconeri would consider a transfer if a big offer arrives for the American.

“Juventus are one of the best teams in the world, it’s an honour to play there and Weston has never had any doubts about that,” Muller continued.

“However, football is a very short-term activity for all teams, players, clubs, etc…

“Take for example last season at Schalke. At the start of the season, no one thought he would leave so soon.

“All I know is that he’s extremely happy at Juventus, so I don’t expect things to change anytime soon. So far, it’s a great success story for both parties."
