Sampdoria midfielder Karol Linetty “is liked by many clubs,” but his agent won’t confirm or deny whether Inter is one of them.

“Karol has a long contract with Sampdoria. If someone wanted him before it expired, they’d have to talk to Sampdoria and reach an agreement.

“As of today, Linetty is under no pressure to leave Marassi, as he is very happy. If an offer were to arrive for him, we’d see what happens.
“Sampdoria are a club who can sell their young players, but first he has to finish the season and fight for a place in the Europa League. Then in 100 days there is the World Cup in Russia, a very important tournament for Linetty.
“His mind is focused on anything except the transfer market. We are open to any solution, always in sync with Samp.”
The representative was asked about potential interest from Inter.
“I cannot confirm that. This is not the right moment. Linetty is concentrated only on the current campaign and we do not work on speculation.
“It’s only natural that Linetty is liked by many clubs, but there are no official negotiations, nor anything concrete to report.”
