Maignan’s agent Bruno Satin has confirmed the Lille goalkeeper is an option for the Rossoneri.
“He is a top goalkeeper. He is the heir to Bernard Lama. Mike always says he was a role model for him,” he told Sky Sport Italia.
“He would be an excellent choice for Milan if Donnarrumma doesn’t extend his contract. He came through the PSG academy, but he’s improved so much at Lille, è is one of their key players.”
Maignan, 25, is contracted with Lille until June 2022. According to several reports, he is open to moving to the San Siro, but Lille demand between €15 and €18m.
