Romelu Lukaku’s agent Federico Pastorello insists the Belgian striker has no problems at Inter and will remain at the club, while Joao Mario wants to join Sporting CP on a permanent deal.

Pastorello, the representative of both players, met Inter directors at the club’s headquarters today.

“I came here for Joao Mario, we are trying to close the deal with Sporting,” the agent told reporters.

“There are a few more clubs interested in signing him, we’ll see what happens in the next few days. We want to make the player happy. He’d like to stay there, there is optimism.”

Pastorello insisted Romelu Lukaku won’t leave Inter despite Antonio Conte’s exit.

“Romelu is happy at Inter. He has a contract so there are no problems.”

Lukaku joined Inter in an €80m deal in 2018. Joao Mario moved to Sporting CP on loan last summer and according to reports in Italy, he can make his move permanent for a fee close to €8m.
