“Lazio and Bologna are considering him, and contact has been ongoing for days,” Tissone’s agent and father Lino revealed in an interview with Tuttomercatoweb.

“But they aren’t the only Italian teams who want Fernando. In fact, a lot of offers have come in from Italy, as well as the rest of Europe.

“His Malaga contract expires in June, so he’d be a bargain in January for next to no cost. Fernando played in Italy for eight years, it’s the land of our ancestors and he’d be delighted to go back.

“He left good memories in Udine, Genoa and Bergamo, he always showed himself to be a serious professional and gave his hard work and quality for the team.

“Fernando has gained international experience at Mallorca and Malaga, in a tactical and difficult League just like Serie A.

“His personality and footballing intelligence would be useful for anyone. Having played in the Champions League preliminaries twice with Udinese and Sampdoria, now he wants to come back and win something.”

Tissone has made 11 appearances in La Liga so far this season.
