Dejan Kulusevski's agent confirms other clubs were interested, but he "chose Juventus" and to remain on loan at Parma after the Atalanta sale.

The 19-year-old had been linked with a move to Inter for several weeks, and it was believed an agreement was close, however Juventus intercepted talks to conclude a deal quickly with La Dea.

The Bianconeri agreed a €35m fee with Atalanta, with up to a further €9m in bonuses.

Stefano Sem, Kulusevski’s agent, confirmed that there were other clubs interested in the player, with rumours of Manchester United, Napoli, Arsenal, Liverpool and Chelsea.

“You know the name of Inter, but certainly there were other clubs interested in him, both from abroad and in Italy, but the lad asked to go ahead with Juve,” Sem told Radio Sportiva.

Kulusevski is due to stay at the Gialloblu until the end of the season, but Sem says that Juve could’ve brought him to the club in January.

“Technically there was the possibility of going to Juve in January, but it needed everyone’s approval. He’s happy to stay in Parma, and they didn’t want to release him in January.

“The satisfaction is obviously high because the boy goes to play in one of the best teams in the world.

“Then we will see how the situation will evolve in the follow years.

“Atalanta makes the biggest transfer in their history, whilst Parma gets to keep the player until the end of the season. Everybody wins.”
