Orestis Karnezis’ agent assures the goalkeeper is “very happy” at Napoli, and has “a great relationship with David Ospina”.

The 33-year-old joined the Partenopei from Udinese in the summer, and played his first game in close to a month against Udinese at the weekend.

“Orestis is very happy with the city and the team, as well as his relationships with [President Aurelio] De Laurentiis, [sporting director Cristiano] Giuntoli, [Coach Carlo] Ancelotti and the goalkeeping coach [Alessandro] Nista,” Vassilis Panagiotakis said on Radio Marte.

“When you come to Napoli you immediately get the sense that this is a very important club, not just in Italy but all over the world, and Orestis is proud to be part of that.

“He respects all the Coach’s decisions, as he’s always respected every Coach’s decisions.

“He’s happy with the minutes he’s had so far, he has a great relationship with Ospina. Those two respect each other, as do all the other Azzurri.

"When he arrived in Naples he was going through a hard time, especially around the first friendly.

"Days before that he'd lost a dear relative, and then you remember the fire that hit Greece in July?

"Well, that fire also engulfed his home, and his wife and family were saved just five minutes before the flames would have engulfed them.

"It was a tremendous shock, but he didn't miss a single training session, to respect the contract he signed with Napoli.

"He didn't say anything to anyone, because he's a great professional. I'm proud to have him as a client."
