“It’s true, [Napoli Coach Maurizio] Sarri contributed to Rugani’s growth,” Davide Torchia explained in an interview with Radio Kiss Kiss Napoli.

“It’s true, [Napoli Coach Maurizio] Sarri contributed to Rugani’s growth,” Davide Torchia explained in an interview with Radio Kiss Kiss Napoli.
“In the last two years he taught him how to play his position, and apply his talents intelligently. He took these concepts on board quickly because he’s open minded.
“However, we’ve never been officially contacted by Napoli who, as is right and should be respected by everyone, spoke to Juventus first.
“The club have told me they believe in the lad, and if someone in the defence picks up an injury then he can carve out a place for himself.
“They told me they wouldn’t sell him to anyone, and I have to say they’ve kept their word.”
