Napoli midfielder Jorginho wants to represent Italy at the European Championships, according to his agent.
The 23-year-old was born in Brazil, but qualifies to play for the Azzurri and his representative reveals he’s trying to force his way into Antonio Conte’s squad.
“Conte spoke with Jorginho and he expressed his interest,” Joao Santos revealed in an interview with Radio Crc.
“My client’s goal is to go to the European Championships next summer.”

Santos also gave his assessment of his client’s start to the season, and praised his role in last night’s win over Club Brugge.
“I was waiting for yesterday’s performance from Jorginho, the player is good in a 4-3-3, and he gave his contribution to the team.
“[Coach Maurizio] Sarri knows my client, and he facilitated Jorginho’s work against Brugge where he made a positive impact, he was on the ball a lot.
“I look forward to the next match for my client, he could play the entire match.”
