Joao Santos, the agent of Arsenal and Italy midfielder Jorginho, is reportedly in the Saudi Arabian capital Riyadh to hold talks with two interested clubs.

The 32-year-old Italian-Brazilian has entered the last few months of his contract with the Gunners, who hold the option to extend his stay by a further year to June 2025. He has featured semi-regularly under Mikel Arteta this term, seeing 1132 minutes of action across 25 matches.

Jorginho, who is hoping to join Luciano Spalletti’s Italy squad for the coming European Championship in Germany, has been linked with a return to Serie A in recent weeks, with possible suitors including Lazio, Juventus, Napoli, Milan and Inter.

As reported by TMW, agent Joao Santos is in Riyadh today to attend the match between Al-Hilal and Al-Ittihad, two clubs interested in signing Jorginho on a free transfer in the summer. His agent will hold an initial round of talks with the two teams in the coming days.

A lucrative contract will likely be offered to the 32-year-old, but considering the difficulties some European players have encountered in Saudi Arabia over the last six months, it may take a hefty sum to convince him of the move.
