Napoli forward Lorenzo Insigne’s agent says his client going to Euro 2016 with Italy “should be inevitable”.
The 24-year-old has been in fine form for the Partenopei this season, with eight goals and six assists in 18 appearances.
“The national team? His only thought is having a great season with Napoli,” Antonio Ottaiano explained to Radio Kiss Kiss Napoli.
“Then he’ll have his chance to prove to [Italy CT Antonio] Conte that he should be there. He’s calm, the two things go hand-in-hand.

“I don’t see many Italian players as alternatives in Lorenzo’s role, the call for the Euros should be inevitable.”
Insigne scored during last night’s 5-2 Europa League win over Legia Warsaw, playing at centre-forward rather than his usual wing or trequartista role.
“Lorenzo’s movements were interesting yesterday, but it’s a game which leaves things as they are.
“Legia didn’t seem very motivated, so we can’t assume a new role for Lorenzo. I can see that the team is having fun, and that’s good for everyone, anywhere on the pitch.”
