Fabio Borini’s agent has confirmed that Inter are interested in the striker, but that it’s ‘too early’ to discuss January.

The former Roma forward turned down the change to leave Liverpool over the summer out of determination to win a first-team spot at Anfield.

However, rumours persist that he may be set for a mid-season move and his representative has confirmed those involving Inter are not wide of the mark.

However, rumours persist that he may be set for a mid-season move and his representative has confirmed those involving Inter are not wide of the mark.

“I can confirm there is an appreciation from Inter for Borini,” Marco De Marchi has told Goal.com.

“We are talking about great esteem, and with Piero Ausilio the relationship is very good.

“For January it is still too early to talk, we are yet to see what Liverpool will do.

“But Fabio has another two-and-a-half years on his contract, Liverpool are happy, we will see what happens.”
