Benfica target Valentino Lazaro’s agent visited the player at Appiano today, after meeting with Inter to resolve the Austrian’s future.

Lazaro arrived from Hertha Berlin in July 2019 but has struggled with playing time in Milan and has spent time on loan at Newcastle in England and Borussia Mönchengladbach in Germany.

The former RB Salzburg winger signed a deal until June 2024 upon his arrival but the Austria international, capped 32 times, has only played 11 games with the Nerazzurri shirt.

Tuttomercatoweb reports his representative Max Hagmayr is currently in Milan and met with the club at the headquarters yesterday.

The 25-year-old met his agent at Appiano today and the target is to unlock a transfer to Benfica in the next few hours.

Benfica are, according to the outlet, interested in signing Lazaro on loan with an option to buy.
