Elseid Hysaj’s agent says his client will sign a new contract with Napoli “just after the Champions League” with a foreign-only release clause.
The Albanian full-back has been in talks over a new deal for some time, having impressed last season after his move from Empoli.
“There’s no problem, just after the Champions League we should conclude things and sign,” Mario Giuffredi said on Radio Kiss Kiss Napoli.

“The clause is a positive factor for a foreign club, they know what Elseid’s price will be. What is certain is that my client would only leave the Azzurri for top foreign clubs.
”The Partenopei face Dynamo Kiev tonight, with Hysaj likely to come up against Andriy Yarmolenko.
“For Hysaj, facing great players is just a motivation, with great performances he may prove himself to be worth one of the top seven clubs in the world.
“We welcome champions on his flank.”
