The midfielder wants to leave the Rossoblu this summer, and is on strike, refusing to turn up for pre-season training.

While the likes of Roma, Milan and Aston Villa have all been linked, Radio Crc is reporting that Napoli have a deal with club and player.

Bologna have accepted a €15m offer, made up of €13.5m plus €1.5m in bonuses, while Diawara has agreed to a five-year contract worth €800,000 per season plus performance-related bonuses.

However, it’s believed the player’s entourage are demanding a fee of €500,000 for brokering the deal, something Partenopei President Aurelio De Laurentiis is reluctant to agree to.

Agents get between four and 10 per cent by law, but this would be an extra payment on top of that.
