Manolo Gabbiadini has practically secured Southampton safety and his agent said “his future is still in the Premier League.”

The Italy international scored a crucial goal against Swansea City last night, dooming West Bromwich Albion to the drop and giving the Saints a massive boost.

“He wants to fight and do well, but if you’re battling against relegation, it means things haven’t worked out,” agent Silvio Pagliari told Radio CRC.

“He wants to fight and do well, but if you’re battling against relegation, it means things haven’t worked out,” agent Silvio Pagliari told Radio CRC.

“He is happy in England too and it’s an experience worth doing. There is talk of a return to Italy, but I think his future is still in the Premier League.”

While the former Napoli man might be in England, he is still keeping a close eye on Serie A and his ex-teammates.

“Gabbiadini was cheering on the Azzurri and when Juventus overtook them in the table, he was very disappointed.”
