Real Madrid, Barcelona and Arsenal target Fabian Ruiz ‘has appeal throughout Europe’ and it’s too early to discuss his future with the Napoli, said the midfielder’s agent.
His performances have attracted attention from numerous clubs, above all for a return to Spain with Real Madrid or Barcelona.
“Fabian Ruiz has appeal throughout Europe,” agent Marco Branca told Radio Punto Nuovo.
“These are situations the club, which clearly has its own ideas, will address at the opportune moment. There’s plenty of time to do everything.
“The transfer market is getting closer and obviously the balance sheets need to be analysed, but at the end of the day, these decisions will be made by people.
“In any case, it’s too early to talk about that now.”
The issue will have to be discussed soon enough, because his current contract only runs to June 2023, meaning a sale is likely this summer or he could leave as a free agent.
Fabian Ruiz turns 26 next month and was signed from Real Betis in 2018 for €30m, but his price-tag has at least doubled since then thanks to his performances for Napoli and Spain.
So far this season, he has contributed six goals and four assists in 30 competitive games for his club.
The Partenopei are currently challenging for the Serie A title and sit in second place behind Milan.
If he was to leave, then Real Madrid would be the favourites, as Carlo Ancelotti was the man who specifically requested him at Napoli.
