Lorenzo Insigne’s agent does not believe his client should be given Napoli’s number 10 shirt.
It has been suggested that the playmaker could be assigned the iconic shirt, which was retired in 2000 in honour of Diego Maradona, but his representative is not keen on the idea.
“The Napoli number 10 shirt is untouchable,” Antonio Ottaiano told Radio Kiss Kiss Napoli.

“I hope Lorenzo can take the number 24 shirt to the top, there’s no use disturbing Diego. The shirt represents something to big in this city, it would start comparisons and put pressure on the lad.
“Lorenzo is having a great time, just watch him play, he seems as happy as a child with a ball, now that he can attack without worrying about defensive duties.”
