Agent Federico Pastorello confirms Inter are ‘evaluating the return’ of Keita Balde Diao from Monaco, while there is ‘no problem’ with Romelu Lukaku.

The representative was stopped by reporters interviewing him as he left the Inter headquarters in Milan this evening.

“I am here for Keita. We are evaluating his potential return to Inter, as Simone Inzaghi knows him very well,” said Pastorello.

“It depends on the players that leave the club as well.”

Keita is a wide forward who already worked with Inzaghi at Lazio, then was sold to Monaco in 2017 for €30m.

He had a one-season loan at Inter in 2018-19, then played for Sampdoria on loan last term.

His contract with Monaco only runs to June 2022, but although the Senegal international has been on the Calcio scene for many years, he is still only 26.

Meanwhile, Pastorello was also asked about the on-going media speculation in England about Lukaku’s future, amid interest from Chelsea and Manchester City.

“Lukaku is having a well-deserved rest on his vacation, there are no problems.”
