Gerard Deulofeu’s agent Alberto Botines confirms Aston Villa are interested in the Udinese striker.
The Spanish forward has three goals and seven assists in 17 appearances across all competitions this term and his contract at the Dacia Arena expires in June 2024.
His agent Botines has briefly spoken to Il Messaggero Veneto about rumours linking the ex-Milan striker with a move to the Premier League.
“There has been an interest from Aston Villa, but nothing concrete,” the player’s agent said.
Deulofeu is currently out of action and is expected to return to training this week. He should not be available for Sunday’s Serie A match against Bologna at the Dacia Arena.
The 28-year-old has already played in the Premier League for Everton and Watford and has scored 20 goals in 127 appearances in England’s top flight.
He has bagged the same amount in 79 Serie A matches with Milan and Udinese. The Spanish striker also has 27 goals in 68 appearances in La Liga.
