“We only found out that Lazio and Napoli have an agreement on Thursday and the player likes the destination,” agent Federico Pastorello told Mediaset Premium.

“Now we have made our request for personal terms and will see what happens, taking into account that there are other previous negotiations.”
He is referring to the interest from Inter and Chelsea in the 29-year-old.
Sky Sport Italia note that this isn’t over yet, as Chelsea are waiting in the wings to make a new offer if talks between the player and Napoli break down.
Il Mattino newspaper claim the wages on offer from Napoli are €2m per season compared to the €2.5m demand, so that can be bridged fairly easily.
