The agent of Getafe defender Erick Cabaco announced he was having a meeting with Milan, as the Uruguayan has ‘a good chance of playing for Milan.’
Representative Gerardo Arias made the claim on Sport 890.
“I am currently in Milan, I’m about to have a very important meeting, because Erick Cabaco has a good chance of playing for Milan.”
The 26-year-old plays as a centre-back, but can also work in the right-back role when required.
He is under contract with Getafe until June 2024, having been purchased from Levante in January 2020 for €8m.
His previous clubs include Nacional and Nancy.
It would be somewhat surprising for Milan to seek out a new central defender, as they have if anything got an abundance of options.
Fikayo Tomori made his transfer from Chelsea permanent, while there are also Simon Kjaer, Alessio Romagnoli, Matteo Gabbia and Mattia Caldara at the disposal of coach Stefano Pioli.
