Gigi Buffon’s agent maintains the Juventus goalkeeper can carry on for another two years, while revealing why Edin Dzeko snubbed Inter.
Silvano Martina has long represented Buffon and brought him back to Juve from Paris Saint-Germain this summer.
“It was the right move because he is still competitive and strong,” the agent told Sportitalia.
“I think he’ll have the chances to play this season and I believe he can play for another couple of years, take it up to the age of 44.

“I personally advised him to train as a Coach for when he hangs up his gloves, as I think he could give his all in that role. He might enjoy it, too.”
Martina also represents Bosnia international Dzeko, who never learned joined Inter before signing a new contract at Roma.
“Inter really did want him, but we had to wait until the final days of the season for them to make a decision and Dzeko didn’t feel ready to do that.
“He would’ve been very happy at Inter and it’s exciting to play in the Champions League. Inter can be the closest team to Juventus in the Scudetto race.”
