The striker returned to Anfield last summer after a loan spell at Sunderland, but failed to hold down a first team place.
“Fabio feels like having a new experience,” Marco De Marchi told Corriere dello Sport.
“We expected more consideration from Liverpool. There are teams from all over Europe interested in him.

“We expected more consideration from Liverpool. There are teams from all over Europe interested in him.
“He has no preference, he wants a club which will allow him to play. He’s liked by top clubs in all the European leagues – the Premier League, the Bundesliga and also in Italy.
“Many clubs have changed their Coach [in Italy] and that’s slowed things down.”
It’s believed Lazio and Fiorentina are two of the clubs interested in bringing the former Roma man back to Serie A.
