Agent Tullio Tinti has claimed only former Milan defender Paolo Maldini 'played at the same level' as Inter centre-back Alessandro Bastoni ‘at his age’.
The Nerazzurri defender has impressed since he claimed a place in the starting line-up at San Siro and his agent has praised the youngster after his assist in the 2-0 win over Juventus on Sunday.

The Nerazzurri defender has impressed since he claimed a place in the starting line-up at San Siro and his agent has praised the youngster after his assist in the 2-0 win over Juventus on Sunday.
“A predestined one,” Tinti told Rai Radio 1 Sport. “I have never seen anyone play at his level, at his age, if not maybe Maldini.
“He has a bright future ahead of him and he deserves it.”
But the agent reveals the contract talks with Inter have stopped due to an economical problem. Bastoni’s current deal expires in June 2023, but he was expected to sign new terms this season.
“We are at a standstill, there is a general economic situation that is not thriving,” he said. “It’s not the time to negotiate for renewals, so we will wait.
“But there are no problems, the player is well and he can wait too.”
