Agent Luigi Sorrentino said Bologna forward Musa Barrow has been helped by ‘a certain continuity’ at the Rossoblu.

The 21-year-old moved from Atalanta to Bologna in January and has been given an opportunity to shine under Sinisa Mihajlovic’s reign, starting five out of six Serie A games so far.

Barrow scored a brace against Cagliari last time, taking his total tally to 11 goals in 25 competitive games since his move from Atalanta.

“Now he plays with a certain continuity, he’s doing it and the qualities have come out,” Sorrentino told Radio Marte.

“If they are used once and twice, it’s difficult to break through, find the rhythm of the game and stand out.”

Bologna face Napoli on Sunday and the agent stressed that the player was never close to joining the Partenopei, despite Atalanta’s effort to swap him with Roberto Inglese.

“Let me say we are very happy with Bologna,” he said. “I have read several of my interviews where the player had to go everywhere. I don’t want to give that impression.

“There was never an interest at Napoli. Atalanta had proposed an exchange with [Roberto] Inglese and apoli wanted cash, he was not part of their plans.”
