The Colombian international had been struggling for playing time at the beginning of this campaign, but has since forced his way into Filippo Inzaghi’s side, after joining on loan from Udinese in the summer.

Despite getting more time on the pitch of late, the former Napoli man has been linked with a move away from San Siro, but his agent believes the player will stay with the Rossoneri until the end of his loan deal in June.

“There isn’t any big news,” Luciano Ramalho insisted in an interview with MilanNews.

“Armero has a contract with Milan, he’s got his head down and is working hard.

“Anything is possible in football, but at the moment there is nothing. He’s happy, he’s in Dubai and ready for the friendly with Real Madrid, and he’s focused for the rest of the season.

“He’s doing a good job with Milan.

“In my opinion he will stay until June. I don’t understand these stories about Armero wanting to leave.

“He’s an importnat player, who went to the World Cup and has played with his national team.

“He’s focused on Milan. If there’s an important offer, whether that be for Milan, Udinese or the player then obviously we’d try to find an agreement.

“Armero has played five or six games [this season] and done well, he had an excellent game against Napoli, and against Genoa and Roma he did well even though the team didn't win.”
