And the goalkeeper is ready for the challenge he will undoubtedly face at San Siro.

“With humility and determination I will be ready to give my all whenever I am called upon,” he told a Press conference.

“I’ll put everything in to improving.

“I’d like to take a moment to thank [Chievo President Luca] Campedelli, who gave me the chance to play in Serie A.

“I’ve never considered myself a truly great goalkeeper. I’ve always taken my career in small steps, but now I’m at Milan.

“I will do everything to be a success here. I want to be ready for the new season.

“I will improve every day at this club. I’ll be like a sponge – soaking up every bit of knowledge.

“I’ve already spoken with the new Coach. He seems determined and eager to take Milan back to the top.”
